April Board Meeting Minutes

Financial Status
All
§ Discussed the financials and ways to save money during these economically tough times. Only 2 Home Owners had not paid their dues as of April 2nd.

Landscaping Discussion
All
§ May 2nd….Bill has put in place the Home Owners Workday to assist in some minor improvements that need to be done to save some money in the budget. Bill has sent an email to all homeowners which lists the “skilled” and “unskilled” items that can be done.
§ We believe Lisa has the “a” to the frnt entrance sign. 770-428-3845 DJS to call.
§ Planting of flowers for the front entrance is being considered for the fall.
§ The repair of the fence as you come into the neighborhood is the responsibility of the HOA and will be discussed further @ next meeting.

CHOA clubhouse
All
§ Need Volunteers to help out at the Clubhouse on May 2nd. We are getting the pool furniture in and some other items that needs some volunteers. Pls contact Donna or Bill.
§ Bill Allen to pick up 3 deadbolts and 3 exterior locks for install and we will have new keys made for the Board.

Pool
All
§ Browns Pool stated they can fix ladder for $40 vs. replacing it @ $450.
§ To be in compliance with the drains for the main pool & the baby pool, Atlanta Swims evaluation is $800 and the Board has decided to use them.
§ Browns pool quoted $400 to paint the tiles. Board has decided to this independently – “in house”…
§ Had an issue w/ 2 children jumping the pool fence and jumping on the pool cover. Email was sent to all and we need to send the pool rules prior to pool opening and make sure all Home Owners review them w/ their children and understand the severity of our liability.
§ Donna has two bids for the pool furniture. One w/ acrylic tables and one w/ mosaic stone and new bases which will be much more attractive and hold up longer.
Misc
All
§ Have new info and pricing on the signage at the front entrance– important to enhance the lettering and make more readable. To be discussed at next meeting.
§ Donna will not paint the “clubhouse” and “no soliciting” signage this month - we will wait until decision on all signage has been approved
§ Jeff who has been here 12 years came to discuss the Privacy fence issue.
§ Jane Maile is heading up a garage sale on May 29th & 30th. Anyone interested needs to contact Jane 8am – 2pm on both days. Board to pay up to $100 for signage that is permanent and kept in the clubhouse for future use.
